Scenario Description
In this E-BLUS exercise skill with laparoscopic scissors and cutting ability is verified. Refer to the video for a detailed tutorial on the most effective approach. The task should be practiced until it can be performed in 151 seconds with all cuts made within the section between the two lines of the training gauze.This level of performance should be achieved on two consecutive repetitions or for a maximum of 80 repetitions.
Instructions
- Insert the appropriate laparoscopic instruments (dissector and scissors).
- Slightly lift the surface of the insert with the dissector, then make a small incision with the scissors.
- Continue cutting along the designated line until you complete a full circle.
Preparation
Training Module
In this exercise, attach the gauze pad to the Universal Holder Module on all four sides. The pad should be stretched out evenly.
Training Module Position
Place the module in the training space in the central position.
Instruments
Prepare 5 mm instruments: dissector and scissors.
Instrument Ports
Use the 2nd and 9th instrument ports.
