Inguinal Hernia – training module
The Inguinal Hernia Training Module enables the simulation of a hernia surgery using the TAPP (Transabdominal Preperitoneal) method, focusing on the key stages of this highly popular surgical procedure. It consists of a plastic base and anatomical elements made of various types of silicones.
Before starting the exercise, place the module of the anterior abdominal wall in the correct position. Ensure that it is tilted at an acute angle to the surface, replicating the challenging position of movements performed during TAPP method. The element on which the procedure is performed is replaceable, and the method of mounting is simple and intuitive.
Type of exercise:
- incision and dissection of the parietal peritoneum from the anterior abdominal wall
- placement of the hernia mesh in the preperitoneal space
- precise suturing of the peritoneum
Recommended tools:
– grasper
– dissector
– needle holder
– scissors
The training module is compatible with Advance trainers.
