Ovarian endometrioma – training module
Realistic physical module for practicing laparoscopic treatment of ovarian endometriosis. The module is made of two silicone layers: an outer layer simulating ovarian tissue and an inner layer representing the endometrioma.
The scenario simulates the removal of an endometrioma (also known as a chocolate cyst) while minimizing damage to healthy ovarian tissue. The training develops precision in tissue dissection and advanced suturing techniques within a confined operative space. The module is single-use.
