Rubber Bands – training module
The Rubber Bands training module is perfect for training manual skills with the use of laparoscopic instruments. Operating in a narrow area is one of the biggest difficulties in this exercise. Stretching the elastic rubbers with the instruments imitates natural tissues. This can help to better understand and feel the tension whilst laparoscopic surgery.
This module also allows you to practice depth perception. Training on different shapes of pins helps to improve your manual skills at various angles and in many configurations, as well as symmetric use of both hands.
