Nissen Fundoplication – training module
The Nissen Fundoplication training module involves training in suturing the esophageal hiatus in the diaphragm to prevent the stomach from moving into the chest cavity and hernia recurrence. The second stage of the training involves creating a gastric wrap (fundoplication) around the lower esophagus. The set includes a drain that simulates esophageal support performed by an assistant.
